Picture: Airbus takes wraps off first VIP A340-600 as delivery readied for Saudi customer

Airbus is poised to deliver the first VIP A340-600 to Saudi Arabian real estate company Saad Group.

The widebody aircraft, seen here undergoing post-production test flights at Airbus's Toulouse facility, will be outfitted at Jet Aviation's Basle completions centre. The aircraft will arrive in Basle facility in April 2008 and delivery to the client is scheduled for mid 2009. It will be managed by Jeddah-based National Air Services.
