Eurofighter probe ends
A major hurdle to the UK-brokered sale of 72 Eurofighter Typhoons to Saudi Arabia has been removed, after the UK Serious Fraud Office abandoned an investigation into alleged false accounting during previous arms deals between the countries.
The move follows calls from the Saudi government and UK industry to wrap up the inquiry or present charges.
