NBAA 2008: Thales spoiler for Learjet 85

Thales (Booth 789) has been selected by Learjet to provide a spoiler system on the new Learjet 85, the first Bombardier jet with an all-composite structure. The spoiler system consists of a Thales digital flight control computer, plus integration of the spoiler control lever and the actuation system. Alain Boursier, Thales, vice president in charge of regional and business jet aircraft says: “Thales is a recognized leader in fly-by-wire flight control technology in the business and regional aircraft market and we anticipate continued expansion in this domain.”
