Pictures: UK blogger publishes first images of Boeing 787 wing pairs in production in Nagoya

A UK aviation blog site has captured leaked images from the Japanese suppliers of the Boeing 787 showing the first wing pair before its shipping to the USA.

Fleetbuzz published two images today, one showing a single completed wing (left), the other a completed pair (below).

The wing sections, together with completed wing sections were flown from Nagoya, Japan to the Global Aeronautica facility in Charleston, South Carolina last month in a 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter.

The subassembly will later make its way to Boeing's Everett plant in Seattle during the first week of March for the joining of the centre section and wing assembly, before final body join planned for April or May.
