Bombardier's Challenger 605 large-cabin business jet entered service late last month following delivery to Russell Aviation Leasing, which is leasing the aircraft back to Bombardier for the remainder of the year to use as a demonstrator. The 605 succeeds the 604 model and features a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics suite, redesigned interior, larger cabin windows and new tailcone. The type flew for the first time in January 2006 and earned Canadian, European and US certification in October.
