Picture: Boeing flies KC-767 in Japanese markings ahead of delivery

Flight has obtained an early image of the first boeing KC-767 Tanker destined for the Japan Air Self Defence Force flying in Japanese markings (below).

The aircraft (N763TT) is scheduled for delivery to Japan this month, although that date could slip into next month. The aircraft, which will be Japan's first aerial-refuelling platform, made its first flight in late December last year from Boeing Integrated Defense Systems Wichita facility on McConnell AFB in Wichita, Kansas.

The Japan KC-767 Tanker is a military derivative of the 767-200.
