An Ariana Afghan Airlines Airbus A300B4 overran the runway while landing at Istanbul Ataturk airport on 23 March. The 25-year-old A300 (YA-BAD) came to a halt resting on its right wing after arriving from Kabul via Ankara. Weather conditions at the time were poor with rain and gusting winds.
