Kuwait's Jazeera Airways seeks more A320s

Kuwait-based low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways is looking to accelerate Airbus A320 deliveries and increase its order to support rapid network expansion.

Jazeera currently operates five A320s and has another five on order from Airbus. Speaking to Flight International sister publication Airline Business in an exclusive interview, chief executive Marwan Boodai says it is "difficult to tell" how many aircraft Jazeera will ultimately require, but says a 10-aircraft fleet is too small given the opportunities in the Middle East and "even doubling that number won't surprise me".
