Swiss VIP operator Comlux has taken delivery of the first Airbus A318 Elite. The CFM International CFM56-5B-powered aircraft, the first of five on order, was outfitted at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg, Germany with a VIP cabin seating up to 18 passengers.
The Elite was launched in November 2005 as the smallest member of the A320-based Airbus Corporate Jetliner family. Over 30 orders and commitments have been placed for the aircraft.
