X-47B moves closer to completion
Northrop Grumman will announce today that it has achieved a major milestone with the completion of its X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) main fuselage. On June 2, 2007, the X-47B UCAS was removed from the manufacturing jig and placed on to jacks for continued sub-system assembly. The next phase of production will include installation of the engine and internal components.
