Airbus clinches ACJ commitments

Hong Kong charter and management company BAA Jet Management has placed a commitment for an Airbus Corporate Jetliner.

The CFM International CFM56-5-powered ACJ will operate from BAA's Shenzen, China base and will become the first of its type to be registered in the country and operated for charter under the new Chinese CCAR Part 135 rules.

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways has placed a commitment for a further two ACJs adding to the three ACJs that the airline already operates. The aircraft will be used to support Qatar's VVIP operations.
