Cessna has begun flight testing its new Citation XLS+, an enhanced version of the Citation XLS.
The aircraft has a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 cockpit and full authority digital engine controls for its two Pratt & Whitney PW545C engines.

The first flight of the Cessna Citation XLS+, took place in the first week of August. The company expects to complete type certification of the $11.6 million business jet early next year and begin deliveries by mid-year.

Along with wider seats in the cabin, Cessna has also lengthened the nose of the XLS+ to more closely resemble the Citation X and Citation Sovereign models.
