The first runway at Dubai World Central International Airport (JXB), at Jebel Ali in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is now complete.
The 4.5 kilometre long Cat III runway, built by Al Naboodah Contracting, worth $272 million, can accommodate the Airbus A380.

The runway, designated 12/30 because of its geographic location, will undergo strenuous tests and trials over the next six to eight months to fulfil its CAT III-C requirements.
Dubai World Central is expected to make announcements about the new airport’s heliport and executive jet facilities at the Dubai Air Show later this month.
