Cessna has delivered the first European Aviation Safety Agency-certificated Citation Mustang to Danish entrepreneur Jørgen Andersen. The very light jet will be privately owned and operated by Andersen and his company JAI.
This is the second Mustang delivered to a European customer following the handover in September of a US-registered aircraft to another private owner, Jane Howell.

Cessna has clinched more than 400 orders to date for the Mustang, which received US and European certification on 8 September 2006 and 21 May 2007 respectively. The company is on track to deliver 44 aircraft this year from its Independence, Kansas plant, where it plans in 2009 to ramp up production of the jet to 150 aircraft a year.
