The second production Quest Aircraft Kodiak single-engined turboprop has made its maiden flight. The aircraft, ship 002, will be the first to be delivered to a customer, with handover due in early December. “The successful flight of our second production airplane is another milestone for the Kodiak programme,” says Paul Schaller, Quest president and CEO. The 10-seater aircraft is designed for STOL operations. It can take off in less than 700ft at full gross takeoff weight of 6,750lb and can climb at over 1,700ft/min.
