Venezuela’s Conviasa has tapped Iberia’s engineering arm for a range of maintenance support services on its Airbus A340 aircraft.
Under three separate five-year contracts with Conviasa, Iberia Maintenance will provide airframe maintenance services, including periodic inspections, on the A340.
A second contract will cover C-checks on the aircraft and under a further deal it will provide overhaul and maintenance on the jet’s CFM International CFM56 engines.
