Assembling the first Boeing 777 Freighter will start soon, after the programme passes the 90% design milestone. Despite 787 production delays, Boeing confirms the first 777F, which is derived from the 777-200LR, remains on schedule to be delivered to launch customer Air France in the fourth quarter of 2008. Boeing has signed firm orders for 82 777Fs to 11 customers.
