VIDEO: Aer Lingus and JetBlue discuss their innovative new partnership

Aer Lingus and JetBlue have announced a new web-based tie-up which will connect their low-fare networks from the end of April 2008. The partnership will allow passengers to book from 3 April on aerlingus.com a single ticket between Dublin or Shannon in Ireland and over 40 destinations in the USA via the JetBlue hub at New York JFK airport.

The two carriers claim the tie-up is the first of its kind in the industry as it connects two low-fare networks exclusively via the web. Both Aer Lingus and JetBlue are confident the partnership will attract new passengers to their networks and will be extended in due course to include several other carriers interested in similar web-based links.
