VIDEO: Aer Lingus’ Mannion continues to fight Ryanair

 

Aer Lingus has been fighting since October 2006 a hostile takeover attempt by Irish rival Ryanair. In early February 2008 Airline Business Deputy Editor Brendan Sobie sat down with Aer Lingus chief executive Dermot Mannion to discuss whether Aer Lingus can continue to succeed in blocking this takeover and Aer Lingus’ strategy going forward as an independent carrier.
