Boeing began final assembly on 15 February of the second flight-test Boeing 787 at its Everett plant in Washington. Fuselage and wing sections for Dreamliner 2 were loaded into the first position of the production system where they are being joined together. The aircraft is the second of six flight-test aircraft but is actually the fourth on the production line as it follows the flight-test aircraft and the two static and fatigue-test airframes. A further 17 787s are in various stages of production.
