SIA takes delivery of third A380
Singapore Airlines has taken delivery of its third Airbus A380 aircraft today, a week before the airline is scheduled to open A380 services to London.
The Rolls-Royce Trent 900-powered aircraft, MSN006, is registered 9V-SKC and joins the other two production A380s – MSN003 and MSN005 – respectively delivered to SIA in October and January.
SIA has configured all three with a 471-seat layout. It operates the type on the Singapore-Sydney route but will begin services to London Heathrow on 18 March.
