A Cirrus Airlines Dornier 328 turboprop was badly damaged when it ran off the runway while landing at Mannheim City airport on 19 March after a flight from Berlin Tempelhof. The aircraft (D- CTOB) suffered substantial damage to its left wing and the loss of its entire left propeller after coming to rest at the perimeter bank at the end of the 1,000m (3,280ft)-long runway 27. None of the 27 occupants was injured. Weather information shows good visibility prevailed at the time with moderate winds from the northeast and no other significant conditions.
