Aircraft interiors EXPO: EMTEQ sets the mood

EMTEQ is setting the mood with is latest Quasar mood light which it unveiled at the show.  It says the ELW71 Quasar LED Mood Lighting System is ideal for widebody corporate and VIP interiors as the system uses advanced chip-on-board technology.

It can generate up to 16 million colours to match the aircraft’s interior with what the company says is impressive white colour control in 50K increments within the warm to cool spectrum.

ELW71 also features ‘state-of-the-art colour feedback’ as well as colour correction which EMTEQ claims ensures greater colour consistency over time to significantly reduce the visible effects of fading.

It is also capable of sunrise, and sunset, dynamic effect modes.

“It is capable of integrating with most cabin management systems,”  says QUASAR engineering lead Cory Wasniewski . “We also improved the mounting track design to reduce weight.”
