US lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) ordered 17 Boeing 737NGs in a deal valued at more than $1 billion at current list prices.
Previously, Boeing had attributed the order to an unidentified customer on its web site.
Including the latest aircraft, ACG has ordered a total of 81 Boeing aircraft: 76 737s and five 787s. That total includes 15 Next Generation 737 delivery positions that ACG acquired from Delta Air Lines in 2006.
ACG, which acquired Boullioun Aviation Services in 2005, currently has 129 aircraft in its fleet.
