Regional Air to trial five-blade prop on Metro
Germany's Regional Air Express is to use one of its Fairchild Metros to conduct certification tests of a five-blade propeller developed by MT-Propeller (pictured on a Piper Cheyenne). The additional blade allows a reduction in propeller diameter resulting in a 50% drop in cabin noise.
