Atlanta-based lightweight in-flight entertainment specialist Flight Display Systems is here to debut an updated version of the 7in widescreen LCD unit it developed initially for Gulfstream aircraft.
The FD70CV-M features an all-metal housing with more compact dimensions for easier bulkhead mounting and more straightforward certification. It is 14% thinner and 12% shorter than the preceding FD70CV-V.
Flight Display Systems is represented at the stand of DAC International, its exclusive European distributor. Other FDS products include moving-map displays; LCD screens ranging in size from 7in to 42in; wireless audio systems; DVD players and external-view flight cameras.
