Monarch Aircraft Engineering has signed new maintenance deals with Air Greenland, Flyglobespan and Zoom Airlines, while also plans to establish a line maintenance facility in Kiev.
The UK engineering firm has applied for Ukrainian CAA approval to establish a line maintenance facility Kiev, following an agreement to provide line maintenance for Wizz Air’s planned new Ukrainian domestic operation. Initially operating with a single A320, Wizz plans to grow the Kiev operation to support six aircraft by 2010.
Monarch has also signed a general terms agreement with Air Greenland to this month carry out a C-check on an Air Greenland Boeing 757 at its London Luton Airport facilities.
Flyglobespan meanwhile recently selected Monarch Aircraft Engineering to provide line maintenance support for its Boeing 757 and 767 operations across six UK airports. Zoom Airlines Canada has also renewed its line maintenance agreement supporting services at five UK airports.
