Superjet International partner Alenia Aeronautica has unveiled a concept interior for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 designed by  Extra, which is part of Italy's Pininfarina design house. The unveiling of the cabin mock-up took place in Venice last week alongside the aircraft's ninth airlines advisory board meeting. The Pininfarina interiors will be 300kg (660lb) lighter, cheaper and easier to maintain than the offering. They will be offered as an alternative to the existing interior selected by Russian customers, says Superjet International chief executive Alessandro Franzoni.
