Fatalities are being reported after a freighter aircraft crashed on departure from the Colombian capital Bogota.
Details of the accident are still sketchy but Colombian media is reporting that the accident occurred around 03:55 shortly after the jet, apparently transporting a shipment of flowers, took off for Miami.
Reports identify the carrier as Miami-based Centurion Air Cargo, which operates a fleet of McDonnell Douglas DC-10Fs, although there are claims that the aircraft involved is a Boeing 747.
At least two people on the ground are said to have been killed but the crew of the aircraft have reportedly survived.
