Aircelle subsidiary SLCA has been awarded a contract by Embraer to produce composite parts for the Embraer E-Jets family and the Phenom 100 light business jet.
SLCA will supply parts for cockpit integration on the E-Jets and rear fuselage components for the Phenom 100, with deliveries scheduled to begin in early 2009.
"The fact we have been chosen by Embraer further consolidates SLCA’s strategy to provide an optimum reply to the needs of airframe manufacturers as they seek reliable partners in composite aerostructures,” says chairman Laurent Schneider Maunoury.
