Middle Eastern carrier Etihad Airways is ordering 35 Boeing 787s and 10 Boeing 777s as part of its much-anticipated fleet expansion programme.
The firm order is also accompanied by options for 25 787s and 10 777s, and purchase rights on 10 more 787s and five 777s.
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad disclosed the agreement at the Farnborough air show today.

Its 777s will have General Electric GE90 engines. No engine selection has yet been made for the 787s.
