FARNBOROUGH 2008: Passage To India

Farnborough Aerospace Consortium is continuing its international expansion initiative by establishing member support offices across India, similar to the successful offices recently opened in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The new offices will be based in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

“We have seen over $20 million of new contracts since the UAE offices opened in 2007,” says Ross Bradley, chief executive of FAC. “We expect to double the number of participating companies in the UAE by the end of the year. This model works for our members and is generating real business.”

“As part of our strategy to support members trading in emerging markets, we have agreed to open three further support offices across India,” he says. “We already have ten members who are looking to join the initial group and, like the UAE, we anticipate this number to grow quickly as members see the new business opportunities.”
Each member in India that works with FAC will receive a comprehensive new business service as part of the marketing and sales support package.
