Express freight specialist DHL has introduced a Tupolev Tu-204C freighter, which conducted its first flight between Moscow and Germany on 5 July.
It is using the Aviadvigatel PS-90-powered airframe RA-64024, which was delivered originally to UK-based freighter manager AirRep in 2003. The twin-jet has been operating for Lithuanian company Aviapaslauga.

DHL is using the Tu-204C, painted in the company’s distinctive livery, on the route from Moscow Sheremetyevo to its European central hub at Leipzig-Halle.
“This shows our commitment to the Russian market and underlines the success of our business development in the country,” says DHL’s country manager for Russia, Adrian Marley.
