German carrier Lufthansa is still reporting minimal impact to its services from a ground staff strike which has now entered its third day.
Ground handling staff, engineers and catering workers, represented by the Verdi ground-services union, began a walkout on 28 July in pursuit of its pay claim.
A spokesman for the Star Alliance carrier says it has today cancelled 82 flights – out of a total of around 2,000 – meaning it is operating around 96% of its schedule.
He adds there are no immediate plans for talks with the unions to resume.
