Business aviation services provider Jet Aviation and Brazilian charter company Tropic Air have signed a partnership agreement designed to boost each company's share of the booming Latin American business aircraft market.
Under the terms of the venture Jet Aviation will supplement its existing aircraft management and charter support services within the Latin American market, while offering Tropic Air administrative and sales support.
The Zurich, Switzerland-headquartered company will also provide customer services training. "Jet Aviation's worldwide buying power for insurance premiums and fuel discounts as well as its global network of fixed-base operators and maintenance companies will facilitate the partnership," says Jet Aviation.
São Paulo-based Tropic Air will maintain full operational control of its current business aircraft and helicopter fleet and any additional managed aircraft that may be secured in the region through the agreement with Jet Aviation.
