PICTURE: Transaero introduces first 777-200s

Transaero has introduced its first two Boeing 777-200s, becoming the only Russian airline to currently operate the twinjet. The 306-seat, Pratt & Whitney PW4000-powered aircraft were originally delivered to United Airlines in 1995 and have been operated by Varig. Transaero, which is acquiring two more 777s, is initially using the aircraft between Moscow and Tel Aviv, and will also deploy them to the Caribbean and South-East Asia.
