Boeing completed the first of three major tests for the 787 static airframe on 27 September required to clear the aircraft to make its first flight. The high-pressure test in Everett, which validated that the airframe can survive a massive spike in cabin pressure, saw cabin pressure slowly over a 2h period to 150% of the maximum service load.
