NBAA 2008: AAG first with international helicopter service

Associated Aircraft Group (AAG) is launching a new executive helicopter service called AAG Global that will carry passengers with speed and comfort to destinations around the world.

Announced at NBAA, the service will harness the internal network of Global member/operators that fly Sikorsky S-76 helicopters. AAG is a business unit of Sikorsky.

“AAG Global will be providing the industry’s first executive helicopter service to clients traveling internationally,” says AAG Global executive vice president Tom McQuade. “Travelers will be assured seamless access to the most efficient travel no matter where in the world their travels take them.”

Network members must meet and maintain AAG Global Standards of Excellence for safety and service. The standards were developed exclusively for AAG Global and will be audited by Aviation Research Group/US Inc. (ARG/US). The standards address every aspect of service from the interior outfitting of the aircraft to client preferences in onboard catering.

Pilot qualifications, ease of flight reservations, safety inspections and timeliness in departures and arrivals are some of the Standards of Excellence provided by AAG Global Member/Operators.
