NBAA 2008: Mongolia or bust!

Gulfstream pilots Karen Tribbett and Ray Wellington have set a city-pair speed record by taking an ultra-long range G550 between Anchorage, Alaska and Ulanbaatar, Mongolia in 7 hours, 57 minutes. The 3,813nm trip was completed at an average speed of M 0.85.

The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) presented a certificate to mark the achievement today at the show. Pictured (left to right) are: Arthur Greenfield, director of contest and records at the NAA, Roc Miles and Neil Vernon of Gulfstream and Jonathan Gaffney, NAA president.
