AVALON 2009: Execujet boosts Australian presence

Execujet is expanding its footprint in Australia with new maintenance, repair and overhaul and fixed-base operations. The company is expanding its MRO facilities in Brisbane and Melbourne to complement its Sydney heavy maintenance base, which is the only regional authorised warranty repair facility for Bombardier and Gulfstream business jets and provides maintenance support for Boeing Business Jets in the region.

A new maintenance and FBO facility at Melbourne's Essendon airport will accommodate two aircraft up to the size of a Bombardier Global Express or Gulfstream 550 and four midsize jets. The Brisbane maintenance and FBO facility, which is due for completion in September, will support warranty repair work on the entire range of Bombardier business aircraft. Both facilities will offer aircraft management and charter, including of the first new Global 5000 and Learjet 60XR in Australia. Execujet will add a new Global XRS in the middle of this year.
