Dubai Aerospace Enterprise has taken delivery of its first Boeing aircraft, a 777 freighter which will be leased by Emirates.
The aircraft is one of eight being taken by Dubai Aerospace Enterprise's leasing division, DAE Capital.
Emirates originally ordered the eight 777 freighters for its SkyCargo operation in 2005, and followed this in 2006 with an order for 10 Boeing 747-8 freighters.
But DAE Capital, which also ordered five 747-8Fs of its own, agreed last year to take on the 18 Emirates freighters under a purchase and lease deal.

Boeing obtained certification of the General Electric GE90-powered aircraft - which is based on the 777-200LR airframe - last month.
