Delta Air Lines will finish equipping its Boeing MD-90 fleet with in-flight Wi-Fi by the end of the month, with the remainder of its domestic fleet scheduled to be outfitted by September.

Equipage of Aircell's Gogo Internet began last year and is complete on 139 of more than 300 aircraft, including the carrier's entire MD-88 fleet and select Boeing 757-200s and MD-90s.

Meanwhile, the carrier is preparing for installation to begin on aircraft operated by subsidiary Northwest Airlines later this year. Delta and Northwest merged in October of last year.

Roughly 200 Northwest aircraft will offer Gogo in 2009.

Delta is selling Internet access for $9.95 for flights less than three hours and $12.95 for flights longer than three hours.

Passengers will be able to purchase month-long unlimited-use passes starting in June.
