Continental Airlines has become the latest carrier to paint one of its aircraft in a retro-scheme showing a livery formerly used by the company.
The US operator has chosen to paint this Boeing 737-900, serial number 33531, in the 'Blue Skyway' colours first used in 1947.
Continental says the repaint is designed to coincide with the airline's 75th anniversary, stating that the carrier can trace its origins to US mail carrier Varney Speed Lines in 1934.
