Back after the disappointment of last year's weather-related cancellation, the 2009 Royal International Air Tattoo promises to be a treat, with attractions including flying displays by restored Avro Vulcan XH558, a first appearance by a French air force Dassault Rafale, and spectacular events to mark major anniversaries for the UK Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm and NATO.
Numerous display teams will also be strutting their stuff during each day's almost 8h flying programme, including Italy's Frecce Tricolori and the UK Royal Air Force's Red Arrows.
Flightglobal will be reporting from RIAT over the course of the 17-18 July show, being staged at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, the UK. You can keep up to date with the latest news, images, video and even Twitter feeds by visiting our dynamic landing page for the event, and load your own images from the show via our AirSpace image gallery.
