Bell selects new leader

Textron has announced that Bell Helicopter president and CEO Richard Millman will retire after 43 years at the company, to be replaced as of 1 August by Textron industrial segment president John Garrison.

Garrison, a former US Army airborne ranger, holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy.

As president of Textron's industrial segment, which includes the E-Z-GO and Jacobsen divisions, Garrison led operating improvements and new product introductions, says Textron.
