Jetstar has signed three new interline agreements and ticket settlement relationships with Qatar Airways, Air Pacific, and Royal Jordanian.
"These additional interline partners effectively provide our customers with more travel options and the ability to build more complex itineraries as part of a single transaction, as well as providing strong support to Jetstar's broader expansion across a Pan Asian network," says Jetstar CEO Bruce Buchanan.
Jetstar has added nine interline ticketing arrangements this year. These include Qantas, Etihad, Air Tahiti Nui, Air Calin, Japan Airlines (using the Jetstar codeshare) and Air New Zealand (ticketed on the Qantas (QF) code).
"These partnerships allow us to tap into new markets, and whilst (our web site) will remain our primary distribution channel, these partners will allow us to expand our global reach and contribute to our long term growth."
The carrier will also reintroduce its second daily Sydney-Adelaide route on 25 October 2009, using an Airbus A320 aircraft.
