Central European budget carrier Wizz Air has firmed its order for 50 Airbus A320 aircraft.
The agreement, sealed on 1 July, was the only order placed with Airbus last month but it takes the airframer's net figure to 118 for the year.
Wizz Air had signed a tentative agreement to take the aircraft during the Paris Air Show in June.
The carrier has not disclosed an engine selection but its current A320 fleet is powered by International Aero Engines V2500s.
Airbus' gross orders for the year to 31 July include 112 single-aisle aircraft, 26 long-haul jets and two A380s.
The number of cancellations, 22 so far this year, is unchanged from June.
Airbus delivered 288 aircraft in the first seven months including four A380s and 49 A330/340s.
