Omni Air International has emerged as the buyer of two Boeing 767-300ER aircraft being sold under the disposal process for Alitalia's assets.
Several Alitalia aircraft which were not selected as part of the relaunched carrier's fleet are being sold through the airline's administrator.
The administrator says that US-based Omni has purchased the 767s, the first of the eight aircraft lots put on the market last December.
These two 767s bear serial numbers 27908 and 28147, and were registered I-DEIF and I-DEIL while in Alitalia service.
Forty-six mainline and regional aircraft were listed in the sale.
