AA09: Jet Aviation adds to its Asian fleet

Jet Aviation announced yesterday that it has added two Bombardier aircraft, a Challenger 604 and a 605, and one Embraer Legacy to its managed fleet in Asia. The aircraft will be based in Hong Kong and Bangkok.

The additions bring Jet Aviation's management fleet in Asia to 10 aircraft. The two Challengers will be fully managed by Jet Aviation while the company operates the Legacy operates under a flight support agreement.

The Swiss company - now part of General Dynamics - is displaying a Gulfstream G550 at the static park. The aircraft, which is available for charter services, is configured for 14 passengers and is stationed in Tokyo and Zurich, Switzerland allowing Jet Aviation to offer long-range flights to customers both in Asia and Europe.

"The Gulfstream G550 perfectly complements our charter offerings in the region," says Martin Bernegger, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation's charter division in Europe, Middle East and Asia. "The elegant and spacious cabin interior of the aircraft allows passengers all the comfort on long range flights to arrive at their destination well rested," he adds.
