Singapore Airlines and Air India have signed an agreement to allow members of their frequent flyer programmes to earn and redeem miles on the other carrier.
"Under the agreement, frequent flyer program members of both airlines are able to earn and redeem miles on flights operated by either carrier," says Singapore Airlines.
With this agreement, Star Alliance member Singapore Airlines has 28 such deals with other carriers.
Air India is in the process of joining Star Alliance.
